Welcome to the 2019 FICPA Valuation, Forensic Accounting and Litigation Services Conference. I'm pleased that this year we'll have many speakers that will discuss current topics that affect the future of how we can service clients in a more effective way. The manner in which we conduct our professional practices is changing. We all need to be prepared for what is ahead. This year’s conference combines technology and anticipatory change with traditional sessions that will strengthen your ability to provide outstanding client service.
The future is already here in many respects! Some of the sessions include The Implementation of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, Where is Blockchain Taking Us, and The Dark Web. More traditional valuation and forensic accounting sessions include economic and tax trends and forecasts, reconciling divergent valuations and normalization techniques, Are You a Hired Gun, family law issues including Personal Goodwill, conducting forensic investigations and the Judges panel, among others.
This is a unique opportunity to adapt and develop your skills to help your practice grow into the future. We look forward to seeing you in Fort Lauderdale in January 2019.
