CPAs operating in today's business climate are weathering a storm of major updates in professional standards. This course will provide useful tools, practical applications and strategies to implement in your accounting practice. We will cut through complicated jargon of professional standards to reveal plan-English insights. We will first tackle the topic of ethics and explore practical new insights from the AICPA's Code of Professional Conduct. We will then focus on tools to enhance your audit and review engagements using analytical procedure applications and data analysis tools. Then to wrap up the day, we will apply accounting and auditing concepts with a technical review challenge case study where you become the concurring reviewer for a financial statement engagement.
